Chronograph Baikal
The “Baikal” is one of the most enchanting regions of Siberia. Its archaic beauty has been a constant source of inspiration and fascination for people. The combination of its frigid climate, ancient untouched wilderness, rocky terrain, and the Baikal Lake creates a unique sensation that can only be truly understood by those who have experienced it firsthand.
The eponymous hand-wound chronograph seeks to capture these indescribable emotions. The texture of the watch face, created by guilloché work, further enhances this theme. The Roman numerals harken to the steadfastness, while the pointed hands evoke the ruggedness of Siberian nature.
The chronograph function allows for the measurement of seconds and minutes, controlled by two easily accessible buttons on the side. The upper button initiates and stops the timing, while the lower button resets it.
Through the mineral glass case back, the decorated Caliber 2901 SeaGull movement with Geneva stripes and blued screws is beautifully visible. The watch is complemented by a color-matching calfskin leather strap.
In its entirety, this large-format chronograph exudes elegance and nobility, distinguished by its exceptional refinement.
