With the Happy Second in an elegant dark red colour scheme, Alexander Shorokhoff brings a retro-modern accent to the world of mechanical timepieces. The special highlight is the multicoloured chronograph second hand, which gives the model its name and seems to dance to the rhythm of time. As soon as the start/stop button at 2 o’clock is pressed, the watch comes to life and the colourful seconds hand begins its lively dance in time with 60 seconds.
The case of this model is a completely new development. With a diameter of 42 mm and a height of only 12.40 mm, it is remarkably flat for a chronograph movement of the ETA 2894 calibre. The rounded design of the case and pushers gives the watch an elegant and modern aesthetic.
The front glass has also been innovatively redesigned. Unlike conventional domed sapphire crystals, this model features a cylindrical glass that provides an interesting contrast to the flat appearance of the case. The interplay of these elements creates an elegant appearance with deliberately placed colour accents, resulting in a harmonious look and an excellent fit on any wrist.
Inside, the coveted and precise ETA 2894 chronograph ticks away, with a total height of only 6.10 mm. It offers a stop function with central seconds, a decentralised minute display at 9 o’clock and an hour display at 6 o’clock. As with all Alexander Shorokhoff watches, the rotor is artfully engraved and refined by hand.
The soft crocodile leather strap with light contrasting stitching and an elegant folding clasp blends seamlessly into the overall design of the watch. Let the cheerful seconds Dance!
